Do you ever wonder how to get the best photos of yourself? Bring your spirit, unleash your inner roar.
The camera reads human emotions… so if you are afraid you will look afraid! If you are having fun it will look fun! Don’t be scared to be in awkward positions as things don’t photograph as they seem!
Sometimes a comfy position can look uncomfortable! Let your photographer direct you while you focus on your face and expression. Always remember to tuck in your tummy and stick your backside out just a little! Nothing is worse than a client who decides they have one angle and the entire shoot is spent in one position!
Don’t drink alcohol to relax because you never want to have dull eyes! We once had a nervous client take so much Valium she fell asleep on the couch! Just relax, be yourself and have fun and you should get perfect photo results!

Theo and Juliet met 29 years ago on a beautiful spring day in Paris. He told her all about his native hometown Stockholm, Sweden, and she had many stories about growing up in downtown New York City.
Four years later they were living in Los Angeles, working for Ford Models and Elite Model Management, creating portfolios for new young talent. On the weekends, they took pictures in their backyard of their actor friends, many of whom were having trouble getting quality headshots. Ten years later it would appear that their friends had all taken the “Wella Balsam Challenge,” each telling two friends, who then told two friends, and so on, and so on. The types of clients they work best with and enjoy the most are those interested in having fun while having their pictures taken.
Theo and Juliet shoot their PR and headshots digitally, allowing for a lot of freedom and versatility while shooting. In their daylight studio and on location they continue to provide a casual and relaxed environment. Their attention to detail and extensive photographic background is what has kept them busy shooting crisp clean PR and headshots for 25 years.
