Growing up Southern California and being a Los Angeles based makeup artist, I have always been drawn to the creative side of life. My background in fashion (a graduate of Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising), developed my eye for design, color, dimension and balance. Doing makeup for over 16 years, has provided me with various creative and exciting projects. The art of doing makeup is a passion I have turned into a career.

After dabbling in makeup for the stage and photography, I began working in the field of Independent Film. This gave me the opportunity to develop characters, work efficiently and think quickly on my feet. Over the years I have covered just about all fields of makeup; stage, photography, television, video, print, bridal and personal appearances.

Makeup design is more that just application and technique. It is a collaboration of communication between the client (director, bride, actor, designer) and artist. I appreciate this process of listening, creating, and fulfilling a vision. Every experience is unique and creative in its own right. It is these experiences that I find satisfying and rewarding.
